Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) are repositories of bulk data for entire health systems representing private, local, state, and national organizations. These HIEs exist worldwide and provide a definitive way to compare health driven data points across many platforms and delivery systems around the county, state, country, or world.
For example, one small US state has over 6 billion healthcare data points that originate from providers, medical groups, hospitals, ACOs, MAs, payers and other healthcare provider sources. Many HIEs are nonprofits that depend on grants and donations and need a way to monetize their data in order to create revenue. PVBM can provide that path to revenue.
PVBM imports this bulk data via CCD or other format, and then converts it into usable sectors via our blockchain technology. Think that instead of a file cabinet of files being secured, PVBM secures each individual piece of information within that cabinet. Our own HLX (Health Life Exchange) coins (cryptocurrency) allow us to secure and monetize each and every transaction in an auditable manner.
This system allows the easy sale or lease of virtually any type of statistical data, metrics and benchmarks, without patient identifiers, that will be useful to payers, pharma, and may other users in need of this type of data. These sale and lease opportunities create true revenue for the HIE; something that is sorely needed and missing.
Every time our HLX coin is used, it is tracked to a particular transaction to provide blockchain security over each individual block, rather than on the bulk data itself. This is a level of security far above HIPPA requirements, and we believe will in a short time become the norm in healthcare. In addition, with each HLX coin “burned” the user receives a rebate of 33.33% back for use at a future date. This creates an ongoing need in the market for new services and coins.
Our next step is to create the market for data for these HIEs. Should you have relationships with HIEs or organizations seeking their data, please shoot us a message on the Contact Us page. Thank you!
